First introduced in 1966, the Invincible Floating 8 cm was one of the very first Nils Master lures to hit the water. Decades later, it’s still one of the most trusted models in the range.
Shape & Action
The flat belly and gently arched back weren’t drawn on a desk — they were refined on the river, tested by a dedicated salmon angler in the rivers of Finnish Lapland. The result is a light, controlled swimming action that comes naturally from the balsa body.
Stop the retrieve and the lure rises back toward the surface, ready for the next cast.
A stainless steel wire-through-body construction gives it the backbone to handle trout and salmon without compromising the action. Every lure is hand-tuned and tank-tested before it leaves the factory.
Use & Performance
At 8 cm, Invincible is a versatile size — equally at home chasing perch and bass as it is working for trout or salmon. It performs well when casting and responds smoothly when slow trolling.
Running depth is approximately 2 metres.
Care & Adjustment
Let wooden lures dry properly after fishing — they’ll thank you for it.
If the lure runs slightly out of tune, fine-tune it by carefully adjusting the eyelet angle. Leave the plastic lip alone — it’s already doing exactly what it should.
If the lip is damaged during a tough fight, it can be easily replaced with a spare part.
