Product description

The Nils Master Dueler is a masterfully engineered vertical jig that combines a conical shape with a spoon-like, concave back. This unique design causes the jig to wobble and flutter in an almost horizontal position during the freefall, creating a highly realistic presentation that triggers the predatory instincts of fish.

The jig comes equipped with a customized VMC two-colour treble hook attached via a split ring, adding additional stimulus to the jigging.

How to Fish the Dueler:

  • The Setup: Tie your line to the top end and lower the jig to the bottom.
    Attract Attention: Jig the Dueler up and down right at the bottom to create a small ground disturbance. This mimics a distressed baitfish and alerts nearby predators.
  • The Presentation: Raise the jig 10–30 cm from the bottom. Use long, relaxed upward strokes, then allow the Dueler to fall freely to activate its sensitive vibrating action.
  • The Strike: Incorporate occasional gentle twitches of the rod tip. Be prepared—fish often strike during the pause or the moment the movement stops.

Glow Options: Available in three sizes and specialized GLOW-in-the-dark colors for deep water and low-light conditions.
