Nils Master Raptor – Vertical Jig with a Curving Lift and Natural Fall
Nils Master Raptor is a vertical jig designed for an active lift-and-drop style. Its slightly curved body creates a distinct movement on the lift, followed by a smooth, natural fall.
During a long lift, Raptor tracks upward in a smooth, curving line. As it sinks, it sways and rolls gently from side to side. This combination of directional lift and natural fall creates a broad, visible action in the water.
Raptor is well suited for zander, pike, perch, as well as trout and other predatory fish. With five available sizes, it adapts to different depths and fishing conditions.
How to Fish Raptor
Lower the jig to the bottom and begin working it close to the bottom zone. Use controlled lifts and allow it to sink naturally between lifts. Many strikes occur as the lure sinks or during the pause.
A longer lift emphasises the lure’s characteristic upward curve before it returns to depth in a smooth descent.
