Product description

This is remaining stock of the original Bete Lotto 24G design with two beads—a rare early version of the Lotto spinner.

The larger Lotto was originally developed by Kalevi Kangas for pike fishing. Measuring 75 mm and weighing approximately 24 grams, it was designed as a powerful spinner for large pike and perch.

Unlike later versions, this original model used only two beads. The result is a slower, more irregular blade rotation compared to standard Lotto spinners. During testing, this design proved effective, including the capture of a 12 kg, 110 cm pike.

At the time, the slower blade action raised questions, and the design was later updated with a third bead to produce a faster, more conventional rotation. That revised version became the standard Lotto 24G.

A small number of these original two-bead spinners remain in stock and are now available at a discounted price. Kalevi Kangas himself stood by this slower-action design.

A rare piece of Lotto history—functional, proven, and no longer in production.
