The Nils Master Haka Shallow 7 cm is your go-to when the water’s skinny but the fish are biting.

This little swimmer glides like a pro in rivers, rapids, and other flowing water—perfect when you’re rowing around mid-summer chasing zander or salmon at slower speeds. It’s got a solid tail wiggle that even the fussy ones (yeah, we’re looking at you, trout) can’t resist.

Like most Nils Master lures, the Haka Shallow is lathed from proper balsa wood—none of that plastic nonsense. Handcrafted, tough, and ready to get to work wherever you drop it in. If you fish in moving water and want something that performs even when you're just drifting along, this one should be in your kit.

Like all Nils Master lures, every single Haka is hand-tuned, tank-tested, and checked for quality before it ever hits the shelf.

For Best Results: Just a heads up: after some serious fishing, the lure might get a little “off tune.” No stress — you can tweak the action by gently adjusting the eyelet angle. Just don’t mess with the plastic lip. That part’s doing exactly what it should.

Also pretty please with fishing worms on top: let wooden lures dry well after fishing.

For Worst Results: Leave it sunbathing on a rock all summer. It’s not working on its tan.
