Nils Master Haka Deep Diving 7 cm – small lure for deep water
When bigger perch or zander are holding deeper, the Haka Deep Diving gets there. This lure has taken salmon and trout on the Teno and Näätämö rivers in northern Finland, and in the rapids at Kalkkinen — field-tested across a range of conditions.
The Haka dives fast, reaching 0–5 metres depending on line length and trolling speed — the same lure fishes from the shallows to deeper water. Add a weight to go deeper still. A good starting point when trolling is to run it just off the back of the boat before letting out more line.
The lure's distinctive swimming position — head lower than the tail — produces a tight, flickering shimmer. The balsa wood body gives a natural, responsive swim. A stainless steel wire runs through the full length of the body. Fitted with VMC 9632 PS-4 hooks. Like all our floating lures, it rises to the surface when the retrieve stops.

Care & Adjustment
Let wooden lures dry properly after fishing — they’ll thank you for it.
If the lure runs slightly out of tune, fine-tune it by carefully adjusting the eyelet angle. Leave the plastic lip alone — it’s already doing exactly what it should.
If the lip is damaged during a tough fight, it can be easily replaced with a spare part.
