Nils Master Jäpittäjä 5,5 cm – compact river lure for trout and perch
The Jäpittäjä 5,5 cm is built for rivers and rapids. The compact, weighted body casts like a dart and holds a tight, responsive action even in strong current — the kind of swim that works well for trout in moving water.
A single hook keeps things simple. Swap in a coloured hook and perch take notice too — though they tend to show interest either way.
Fitted with a VMC 9632 BZ hook in size 4.

Let wooden lures dry properly after fishing — they’ll thank you for it.
If the lure runs slightly out of tune, fine-tune it by carefully adjusting the eyelet angle. Leave the plastic lip alone — it’s already doing exactly what it should.
If the lip is damaged during a tough fight, it can be easily replaced with a spare part.
