Nils Master Stalwart 8 cm

Nils Master Stalwart 8 cm is often considered as the twin lure of Nils Master Spearhead 8 cm, but while these two lures are connected by history, unique design and size, Stalwart is more like a general lure to attract zander, trout and pike or big perch, while Spearhead quickly gained fame as a salmon lure of the North. 

Yet both lures thrive fast flowing environments like rapids and rivers, but you can also try slow trolling and rigging besides casting. 

Stalwart's profile and strongly swaying action works well when casting into rapids and rivers, and with the right spot the Stalwart becomes unbeatable: an Australian fisher has given us feedback that the Stalwart is so prolific catching large trout at his favourite fishing spot that he wants to keep it quiet. 

The swimming depth of Stalwart is approx. 2,5 meters and when the pull stops the lure bobs back to the surface. 

Every Nils Master lure we manufacture is individually quality controlled, hand tuned and tank tested before packaging. PLEASE NOTE that sometimes a hard fished lure can get "out of tune" and lose its optimal swimming style, but you can control the action by slightly changing the angle of the eyelet. Do not attempt to adjust the plastic lip! 

We also recommend to let the wooden lures dry well after fishing.
