Nils Master Dartmaster 12 cm – wooden jerkbait for active predator fishing
The Dartmaster is a wooden jerkbait designed for active casting. The carefully hand-balanced body produces a sharp zigzag action — the angler drives the movement, not just the retrieve.
In summer, cast and reel at a steady pace. In cold water, let it sink first, then work it with short, varied rod jerks — the pauses are where the action happens. The lure is suitable for both new and experienced jerkbait anglers.
The best spots are where big pike hold: reed edges, steep shorelines, large rocks and small bays. The body resembles a large roach or bream — 12 cm, around 68 g, and easy to cast.
The Dartmaster has also found its way to warmer waters — it has been used on Australian reefs, including for footballer trout.
Every Dartmaster is carefully hand-balanced before leaving the factory — that balance is what makes the action work straight out of the box. Handcrafted in Finland. Full-length stainless steel wire, VMC hooks and stainless steel split rings.
