The Nils Master Junior Shad looks and swims just like a small baitfish — right down to its bright, lifelike tail.

Originally developed for the North American market, this jig was crafted to answer the demand for a shorter, broader, and flatter profile that imitates local sunfish fry. The result was a uniquely shaped balance jig – the Nils Master Shad – which has proven its worth time and again in Northern waters, especially when targeting salmonids like Arctic char.

The Shad moves with a lively, natural action that becomes even more enticing when fished with a thin line.
