Nils Master Rotinkainen is a truly distinctive balance jig, built for anglers who value originality that delivers results.

In its smallest size, Rotinkainen can easily be rigged as a vertical jig simply by tying the line to the rear hook, offering added versatility on the ice or jigging in open water.

Designed by Kalevi Kangas, a lifelong angler with a passion for ice fishing, Rotinkainen was created to challenge convention and explore bold new shapes and mechanics—always inspired by nature. The lively colour drop hook at the nose gives the lure the appearance of a small baitfish in pursuit of food. This subtle flash and movement is particularly effective at provoking reaction strikes from larger predatory fish.

Rotinkainen is fitted with factory-customised VMC treble hooks with an epoxy drop, and the practical quick-link system allows for fast, straightforward hook changes, even in cold conditions. Handcrafted in Finland, it reflects a tradition of uncompromising quality and functional design.
