Shallow-running lures – for fish holding near the surface

Some of the best fishing happens in the first metre of water. Early spring pike in warming shallows, midsummer zander that have moved up, or trout working the edges of a stream — these are situations where a deep-running lure simply gets in the way.

Shallow-running lures are built for exactly this. A subtle, responsive action close to the surface, in water where heavier lures would snag. Most models can also be fished deeper with a rig and weight when conditions call for it.

All lures in this range are handcrafted in Finland from certified balsa wood and fitted with VMC hooks.
